Microsoft's upcoming Windows 11 operating system has been leaked online on June 15, 2021. Following the publication of screenshots on the Chinese website Baidu, the entire Windows 11 operating system has now been made available online, complete with a new user interface, Start menu, and much more.
The new Start Menu, Taskbar, and search

Microsoft had been simplifying Windows for dual-screen devices before canceling this project in favor of Windows 11. As a result, the new Windows 11 user interface and Start menu look very similar to what was initially found in Windows 10X. The most noticeable visual changes will be found along the taskbar. Microsoft has moved the app icons to the center of the screen, cleaned up the tray area, and added a new Start button and menu.

Even the taskbar is centered so that apps appear in the middle of your screen. This will then be combined with a new search icon which provides a floating search bar instead of an off-centric box in current Windows versions. So again, it helps you put things in front of you — much like macOS or Chrome OS — and that is nice. It is very nice.

Dark mode

Dark Mode always suffered from Windows 10. Switching to dark mode may not permanently modify the look of some systems applications and settings. Well, Microsoft tried to change that in Windows 11. There still are areas not wholly compatible with the dark mode, but it looks very calming in terms of title bars, the taskbar, and the Action Center.

Rounded corners

The windows' and app's edges seem a little as in macOS Big Sur, as did Apple. However, it's much easier on the eyes when paired with the suitable wallpaper, and it's a welcome change after five years of Windows 10's squared corners. Windows 10 had a lot of flat edges, but that is changing in Windows 11. Windows 11 replaces pointed corners with rounded corners to align with Microsoft's Fluent Design language. It's one of the most noticeable aspects of the operating system, and it also looks fantastic.

New icons

Microsoft pushed the whole range of its products with new icons, and now Windows 11 is ready to change that. The release provides new document icons, downloads, and photos. When you navigate the OS

New animations

Open and close apps, maximize and minimize windows—all of which have new animations. Apps are now minimized as the taskbar jumps. If you click on the maximize button, you also affect when opening from the inside. The old Windows is a new feel.

More changes to come?

It should be noted that the Windows 11 we build with is yet to be concluded. Between now and eventual release, things could change. Still, it sure seems like many of these functionalities will end up in the final operating system. June 24 will reveal the actual scope, and we couldn't be more excited about what to happen with Windows 11.
